Veteran Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has admitted that he considered retiring last season. The 35 year old faced injury problems with Leicester City last season. Resulting in not being able to play on the field much Plus, the season ended with relegation from the Premier League. It made me think about quitting football in my head. Before signing a contract with his old club, Manchester United, it was a surprise.

When asked: On whether he imagines positive change towards the end of his playing career, Evans replied: “No, definitely not.”UFABET 

“I think that because of what I went through last year. Makes you start to think Maybe it has come to an end.”

“No doubt there were moments when I thought that way. I couldn’t get over the injury. Every time I come back I went back and ran into problems again.”

“A lot of people say there’s no way you’re this close to retiring. But you have to prove yourself. And I feel like I can do that,” Evans said.

For Evans, a youngster from Manchester United’s youth academy. He successfully won three Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League with manager Sir Alex Ferguson before moving to the West Bromwich Albion in 2015.
