Former England midfielder Dele Alli says it’s time for him to move on after severing ties with Everton. The former England midfielder has been a free agent since his Goodison Park contract expired in June. But has continued to train with the football club.

The 28-year-old underwent six weeks of rehab last year. As he dealt with childhood trauma and was in attendance at Como’s 2-0 Serie A win over Roma on Sunday ทางเข้า UFABET

In an Instagram post, Alli thanked his former club. Saying: “2025 could bring me a new path with many exciting opportunities.”

“Before that happens, it’s important for me to make it clear that I’m incredibly grateful to the fans. Staff and players at Everton for the support they’ve given me.”

Since moving from Spurs to Everton in January 2022. Alli has started just one Premier League game and made 12 substitute appearances.

His final game came in February 2023 while on loan at Besiktas in Türkiye.

“It’s been an incredibly difficult journey trying to put the final pieces together to get back to fitness. And I’d like to extend my sincerest thanks to the Everton staff for the hard work they’ve put into this process,” Alli added.

“Unfortunately, things didn’t go as we all expected and I think now is the right time for me to move forward. I wish everyone at this incredible club the best of luck.”
