Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta said at his pre-season press conference ahead of his trip to Crystal Palace (Dec 21). That midfielder Declan Rice and defender Riccardo Calafiori will be available again.

“Rice and Calafiori are both available,” Arteta confirmed. 

“There is no Tomiyasu or Zinchenko at the moment.” 

As for the future of left-back Kieran Tierney, there is news that the team will not exercise the team option for the 2025-26 season. But the Spanish coach insists that the 27-year-old is a professional and reliable player.
